Server Crash??

Is the server down??

Ya. Looked like GM was doing something about midnight EST time as only 1 person on and server was down for maintenance when you try to log on. Not sure what he has up his sleeves. No patch notes or anything so not sure.

Good thing being an admin or gm isn't their day jobs huh? lol
What's it going to take for us to start getting information like why and when server will be down?

its back up. there was just too many ppl on the wifi yesterday.

Any news on a new host?

Cant afford one atm. used one a week ago or so and they were terrible so i canceled them and they refused to refund the money.

How much does one cost?

around $70 a month for 16gb 8core 20gb high speed net plus 98% uptime.

Problem started yesterday. My wife just asked me if I had heard about the rain in Vegas. I did some research, and holy crap bro. you do know floods do cause ISP interruption. That's probably 90% chance of why your ISP has been all jacked up yesterday and today. friends have videos up of Twain and Arville streets flooded.. I can only imagine all the man holes out there. You could have your roomates call Cox, but they are probably swamped with dispatches.
 
   Who did you try to go through to host your server?  I work for a data center on the east coast and I did a speed test from my job to Switch in Vegas and got this::

I can ask my boss to see what he would charge for me to host a server if there would even be a concurring cost. I can't promise anything but I would be willing to ask if your down. I don't want anything more than to play this server on a stable connection. (no red bars) Willing to help out however I can. If its giving 10 bucks to host it in Vegas that fine too, I'd just like to know which provider is hosting it, cause I know its not Switch communications, those guys want to suck every penny out of your pocket.

no i just rebooted modem and turned settings from 217mbs to 450mbs.
