Server Down??

Hey...the Server are Down? ...the server kicked me and is offline ...

none visible on daoc portal, so sadly we have to wait again

sorry about the lack of info on my part. im working with a new partner and we are making a few changes to RoD. will update asap.

atm i just see your state clean, or status quo.
i really hope you will still consider the custom style of RoD for Bifröst.

just remember that you need a small MUCH smaller zone for such few players.
btw most people dont even know bifröst is RoD, sadly i think this will lower the population again, since just a few people always check new servers

I seriously almost started my own custom server last night... I downloaded MYsql, but I when i started to pull the repository with svnturtoise or whatever, it wouldn't write to the folder I chose. I chose a number of different folders, change security settings, turned read only off, etc - but couldn't get it to pull the data from the repository.

I really live for custom content infused with DAoC

To get own custom server you make github account fork the DOL/Sharp from here:

after fork you clone it then you download your OWN FORK and use visual studio community and build solution.
Then you got your server.

hey guys and gals sorry about that I am working again and had a power outage at home and couldn't remote login to get server back up.

Any update?

Went to show a friend the server last night and it died after a few minutes still haven't see or heard anything today, have a few friends who wanted to play any update on when the server will be back?

Admin, you had a great idea for the server etc, but actually you dont care about it. no new since weeks, mid 2015 rollback and still no changes, i know you dont have the time to do it by urself, but dude ffs Nalfgar want to help you and to work on the server.. what are you waiting for???

i think he cares alot about it, but real life priorities get in the way, for all of us! the only problem this server has is uptime and backups. he said above he added nalfgar as admin to work on it, the only problem left is hosting and stuff. if this was on a standalone server hosted by a company it would be on 24/7 with auto restarter, and off site backups to the admins and owner. the problem is that costs money so i love the server, and wish it had all that, but im not going to hate the owner for putting his family first, thats the way it should be. its just a shame that we cant get mythic/broadsword/whatever to make our game like this, the way we want it thankyou Admin for trying hard, and letting us play when you can, also, thanks for knowing what you can and cant do alone, and for bringing on other people like nalfgar to help i keep coming back here because this is how i wish DAOC could be on live, thanks for what you guys do!
